We're not just hosts—we're your local friends in Stobreč. Ljubo was born and raised here in the same neighborhood where we still live today, and we've spent our lives watching the seasons change over the sea and welcoming travelers from around the world.
Ljubo is a retired Electrical Engineer who discovered a new passion in retirement: sharing the beauty of his hometown Stobreč with visitors. Born and raised in this very neighborhood, he has deep roots in this community. When he's not welcoming guests, you'll find him on his boat fishing in the Adriatic, tending to our family olive groves, or cooking up fresh-caught fish in traditional Dalmatian style. He also traveled the world as a selector for Croatia's Shore Angling team, but his heart has always been here, in Stobreč.
Meri was born and raised on the island of Brač, just across from Stobreč, where her family has been producing quality olive oil for generations. She moved to Stobreč when she and Ljubo married, bringing with her the traditions and expertise of Brač's famous olive culture. Meri is Ljubo's wife, companion, and best friend. They do everything together—picking olives, working the land, making wine, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for their guests. Meri has a degree in Electrical Engineering and works full-time, but she's always ready to share local tips, restaurant recommendations, and the best hidden beaches in the area.
Together, we've been hosting since 2000, welcoming guests from over 30 countries for 20+ years. We've earned perfect 5.0 ratings and two Guest Favorite badges on Airbnb—not through corporate polish, but through genuine care, local knowledge, and the kind of hospitality that comes from the heart.
